Do men get enough credit for braving the world without wearing any make up, cause when women pop down the shops without any it’s kind of a big deal, but men literally spend all day, everyday without any ?!

Thoughts.

Unfortunately, not even some make up would help make me more attractive. Cosmetic surgery, on the other hand……

A little blusher could make a world of difference.

Probably a whole lot of concealer would be more helpful for me.

La la land

I go into work minus make up on a regular basis and like heck do I put it on just to go to the shops. M on the other full on glitter eyeshadow and red lipstick just to put the bins out (this last bit may have been made up, and I'll be in so much trouble later

I think this is more down to societies expectations of women to look pretty whereas men are to be rough and ready.

In saying that, looking at the teens now, the boys seem to be embracing the wearing of make up. Times are a changing

I’ve never worn make up, I’m a stubborn ass who always shows what she’ll look like the morning after! Haha, I really don’t have the time in my life for it tbh, but often think oh god I really should do something about that ageing face

Can I have some credit for popping to the shops with no make up but raise you a cyst in the upper eyelid, a stye in the bottom eyelid and looking like Halloween came early?

You should tell Halloween not to come there then.

I think it's a shame that there's a societal gender difference around make up at all. Why can't we all enhance? Or all go without? It's just coloured paste after all.

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

The trend of facial hair on men seems to be the equivalent of makeup as it covers a multitude of sins. Unfortunately I don't have the capacity to grow a beard

I think men should make more effort with their faces.

A little foundation, mascara and lipstick wouldn't go amiss.

If I don’t wear make up I get asked if I’m unwell, or told I ‘look peaky’ - I’m like no, this is my actual face!

Isn't it strange though that in the animal and bird kingdoms it's the males that have the bright colours or fancy features in order to attract a mate?

controversial... But I wonder if it's because men look for signs of youth and women look for signs of strength/protection/dependency. And this has been the case since day dot. Make up allows women to keep looking young for longer ...

I suspect more men use makeup subtle makeup, like concealer, or mascara than we realise. Some men look great in makeup.

I seem to have a penchant for men that like makeup

Make up is z ball ache quite frankly, be glad you don't feel the need to where it. On the occasions that I don’t wear it I get asked if I'm under the weather

I can't remember the last time I wore make up. I don't possess any.... I did try to wear it for my sister in law's wedding - went to a salon and had it done. Looked at my face in horror, went home and washed it all off
