A lady at work brought one in today brought back memories .couldn't do it 20 years ago even worse now.She said this is how you do it . Did it in about 2 mins .what is the nack .

Just learn the algorithms... Boring answer, but thats it really. You can fiddle the first 2 layers, but after that you need to memorise about 6 patterns to solve them

I've had several over the years, and have never once learned how to solve it. Think I have one in a box somewhere, tempted to hunt it out now.

Yep, was a super geek in school, so used to show off that i could do it in under 5 mins. Won me many a chocolate bar ans extra lunch money in bets that one.

Not now. However many many years ago Mr got to the final 5 (average 50 seconds) in a Rubiks Cube competition and was in the local newspaper. True story
