As it's only 3.5 km long...... a bit shorter in fact.....

Do you go through it three times ?

The 1.5km uphill is the longest part...

Done it a couple of times in the past, it’s a great race and yes it gets tough when you start going uphill in the tunnel. The noise in the tunnel is a good laugh with fellow runners making plenty of funny noises

Once out of the tunnel the route isn’t too bad, especially running down the front on the Wirral. It’s nice to get the breeze after the heat in the tunnel.

I have run it a couple of times in the past. A great experience though a little more daunting as the years advance...
