Otherwise known as a tiny piece of comfort…

What do you do to find that when it feels like everything is going crazy?

I clean my flat then hit the gym

Control what I can. Get a crazy sweat on and head home to a perfectly tidy flat, lay on my bed with fresh sheets and watch animal videos on insta

"Car - loud music - drive "

Anywhere in particular or just the act of driving?

A Walk in the peaks or forests, I love climbing and scrambling up

Mountains or Munro’s

That feeling of being on top of the world is exciting and uplifting. Sharing it with someone amazing is even better. I climb with my little girl usually on my back but she gets out abd climbs certain sections as she’s fearless. That in itself lifts my mood to.

Dance!

I’d go to my studio, turn up the music really loud and dance till I’m sweating, the endorphins from the exercise and my overall love of dancing always make me feel good xx

Dog walk in countryside. Or return to a favourite book or film for comfort and inspiration.

Find a peaceful outdoor sanctuary.

If not possible - meditate.

If not possible- dance furiously.

I have a "tool box". There is always a solution.

I bought a house that is literally on the beqch. Went through Hell to get it, but its my little slice of utopia and my solace. Even on the worst days, i can smile at the peace and the view and lose myself in it x

I head out into nature...often just sit and watch and listen to the abundance of wildlife around me, all doing their own thing in peaceful harmony.

I really want to do this again! But maybe in Spring. I have some others goals first.

I often find peace in walking, jogging, even sitting in silence. Also watching my dogs interact with each other.

Somewhere

I wish the Peak District was closer, I’d hike until I was exhausted. For now, music and gardening.
