It is seriously big business and I am getting a little worried about the Lego obsession taking over. The Olympics and Paralympics has meant that I have had to buy these little packets of Lego athletes. We still haven't got them all! The kids will come in and advise us adults to avoid the living room as it is wall to wall Lego projects on the go. The birthday and Christmas lists, already begun, are almost exclusively Lego based.

I was at a grown-ups party earlier this year and a child was there with a Lego kit he couldn't work out how to put together. Rotating teams of 3-4 adults worked on it most of the evening. The kid? He went off and enjoyed the party!

I was never a girly girl that played with dolls, and loved playing with Legos building houses etc...

Happy days!

Is there any adult lego for making dildo's and stuff?

If there is, then it will probably be for the s&m brigade because of the sharp corners and stuff

Have a look at the architectural Lego - even I am little tempted. Very grown up looking and quite impressive when they are put together.

No, Polymorph is the stuff for making dildos.

Use your imagination - get a box of mixed Lego and see what you can devise.

I didn't even know Lego was numbered. I confess I know absolutely nothing about it.

I did see an absolutely huge model of the Empire State Building in the ToysRUs shop in Times Square and was terrified that I'd bang into it, as it wasn't guarded in a case etc

I went in the new Lego shop in Manchester the other week, purely just to see what they did these days.

I knew that it had moved on considerably since my days of leaving it round the carpet and crippling unsuspecting parents.

They do a VW Campervan model which I would have loved, had it not been about £80.

As hobbies go, I guess it could be an expensive on if you really get into it !

brecon

I had Mechano, loved it, was always building things that had moving parts.

Dad took my tool set off me when I took his alarm clock apart.... in my defence, it only ran a little faster after I put it back together... not bad for a 11 year old lol!!

I disagree , Polymorph is too hard, its like harking back to my teenage years where a hairbrush handle came in handy maybe if I tried mixing it with Blue Tac ????? Now there's a thought
