Then Buy him lynx 48 hr sports , white can, it’s impossible to sweat with that on and you need wire wool in the shower to get it off  |

Take him to one side and tell him politely that just in case he is not aware the heat is causing a bad case of BO and that he might want to carry a can of deodorant with him.
It better to be open and honest with him rather than dropping subtle hints which may or may not hit the mark and cause more embarrassment. |

He probably needs to change to a different deodorant or better still an anti persperant. So you could simply discuss that you have discovered a marvelous one that the lady's appear to like
Then he might toddle off and purchase one for himself. .

It's a tricky one, which needs handling sensitively.
Depending on how well you know him you could say something along the lines of "There's no easy way to say this mate but you're a bit stinky today.Must be this hot weather! Have you tried blah blah deoderant, that's what I use and it's pretty good"
If that doesnt work you can follow it up with "Here's that deoderant I told you about, it's on buy one get one free at the moment".

Had it done to me once. Unfairly I thought?
At the time I was helping to look after my mum with dementia and a few loads of washing were not done properly. It was humiliating so in all fairness handle it kindly. |

I worked with a girl years ago who had this problem and one day one of the other girls said something to the supervisor. We found out that the girl said it was a medical condition and that she did use deodorant. Cue a lot of embarrassment x |

We had this in an office I used to work in.
The guy in question was really nice and we’d all worked together for years so knew each other really well. He just started to pong for some strange reason. It got to the point where people who sat near him were putting air fresheners under their desk.
Someone eventually made an official complaint saying they could not work with him smelling.
Our boss decided to have a quiet friendly word. This did not go down very well and the guy went mental.
He had a chat with me about it as he was fairly upset and said he showers everyday.
I suggested he see his GP.
Problem solved. It turned out he had some sort of medical condition that was causing it. |

I work in a office and a few years ago a can of deodorant was left on the person’s desk whilst he was at lunch so he had no idea who left it there but may well have guess it was the person sitting next to him. |

What if smelling of bo is his lifestyle choice and your unintentionally judging him for living his life how he wants to. got to remember your not allowed to judge anyone on anything anymore, so based on that I would leave him alone and probably show support to him by you stopping with the sprays and getting your stink on with him. |

It's a difficult situation. In my old workplace HR dealt with a situation with one lady. She had hormonal problems which caused it. More than once it was addressed. Then we found out she wasn't washing her clothes on a hot enough wash (to save energy) to clean the bacteria left in close. Once one of the ladies I worked with explained that the odor was her clothes she changed her washing powder and started using a hotter wash. Problem solved |

It certainly is not! The guy has a right to not use deodorant..he may have allergies or simply not wish to put chemicals on his body.
A case 18 months ago at work was similar...the guy in question was offended at being told by a HR colleague that he had an offensive aroma..4 months off work due to anxiety and a £24,000 cheque off his employer thanks to his lawyer!
In this world of snowflakes you have to remember, people choose to be offended now. |

Exactly - a lifelong friend has a condition like that.
Some people absolutely can’t help it. He gets out the shower at it’s there.
