We’re trying to change our outlook when it comes to language. In the past we would be quick to class someone as a c*nt. But why that word? Why use such a derogatory term for the female anaotomy. From now on, as much as we can, dicks will be dicks. The C word is gone. Small steps and all that.

I just looked up the origin of the word and its actually quite interesting.

Cunt is one of the most offensive and hateful words in the English language. The exact origins of the word cunt are unknown, but it's recorded in the early 1200s as the name of a street in Oxford, England called Gropecuntlane, apparently a reference to prostitution. Both Chaucer and Shakespeare made puns on cunt.

I'm not sure why "cunt" should be an insult or derogatory term. They are cosy, welcoming (some), adventurous little hide outs.

And when people say grow a pair of balls.. how does it make sense? They are so vulnerable.

"What’s the difference..??"

It’s part of a bigger problem, but altering our use of language is a small but significant change. Cu*t is an aggressive and deregulatory form of abuse, related to being derogatory towards women in general.

It’s a small step. But we think significant.

Have a lovely weekend

As an addition to that, the word Cunt used to be the general termanology in the middle ages for the vulva. It was only through the guilt-tripping of the monarchy and church that lead to the word Cunt being shunned.

As another fun fact, Vagina comes from the Latin "vaginae" which translates to "sheath" or "sword holder". I'm highly doubting any women were involved in the naming process
