Other window (if I crane my neck a bit) is some men fitting new windows in a neighbours house … muuuch better view

Nothing.
All curtains & blinds are kept closed in the house. Always have been. It's a habit. Never really thought about it until this post.
I suppose since every room * has a computer screen in it, it's probably to do with not wanting light shining on a screen.
* Apart from the master bedroom, which has black out blinds as I cannot sleep with light coming in to the room. |

We are on their flight path when they go to Wales (I think) for training. |
