Awful news today of the death of American actor Michael K Williams.

He became famous playing Omar Little in The Wire, one of the most iconic roles in TV history, and was also brilliant as Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire.

Sad day. True that.

I just read this, and it has seriously bummed me out.

Such an amazing actor, and I always watched whatever he was in.

Whatever the circumstances are, I hope he's found peace.

I'm really sad to hear that. I haven't seen The Wire but loved him in Boardwalk Empire. He was so good

54, no age to be leaving the planet but sounds like he made his mark during those years, which is more than most achieve. RIP.
