Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
My work and material possessions don't really feature here(apart from a digital device for access).
I'd be as interesting as I am on here. It's your individual judgement whether that is interesting or not.

Possessions and material things don't make us who we are.
We all start out with nothing and leave with nothing.
They are nice to have and make life more comfortable but have no bearing on who we are. |

When the tenancy on my flat ended in 1998 I walked away from everything. I closed my business, got rid of all my stuff, left my partner and too to the road with a few changes of clothes. It was a very liberating experience. |

I'm skint as fook and own nothing exciting, my job is boring and certainly doesn't make me interesting, if anything it stifles individuality/creativity. So nothing would change, I'd be as dull as ever!
Thank god I have big boobs |

Materialistic things don't make people interesting there life experiences do and even people who have literally nothing can be the most interesting people to talk to. |

"Does someone job & possessions make them interesting, I’d say not.
Depends what job, I’d say my job was pretty interesting "
Does it make you interesting as a result though, something people would wish to know and constantly find out more ? |

"Depends on how you define interesting. I have plenty I can talk about."
Snap...
25 years in customer service, 4 of those in palliative care (early on)
I reckon I have some interesting conversations ahead if required.
If not... tough if you think I'm boring... I don't |

Depends who I’m talking to obviously, Pretty sure, I’ve got quite a lot of insight and things to share and disclaim, wondering if it’d end up in a gagging order |

Interesting responses.
Most people talk about theirs jobs, their cars, home improvements etc quite a lot. It makes conversation easy quite often.
But take them away.
You always have... Your life experiences, your views, opinions, beliefs, tastes plus a while lot more.
Your creativity, your drive.
Can you think of more? |

"just how interesting are you?
PW "
Such a good question. As someone has already stated, we enter this life with nothing and we leave with nothing. However between those two points we amass a wealth of life experiences. The inanimate objects we collect along the way are just bolt - ons. If someone was more interested in the bolt-ons than my life experiences then I wouldn't be interested in them |

My job is fairly interesting if you're a techie geek...
...I therefore rarely talk about it!
Not many of my possessions are particularly interesting, maybe the art and my scooters, so they are not great sources of conversation either.
I know a little about lots of things, so I'm potentially interesting. But it's one of those things that's difficult to judge in oneself isn't it. |

"Well I've just walked out of my job, and I'm not interested in material possessions , so you tell me ? "
You’re just as interesting with or without material.
Although the without material part holds my attention better |

Pretty much how I lived after leaving Navy and again 6 years later when lost everything to a house fire.
I've lived a fun short life so can always spin a story and being Irish just adds to the charm. |

Neither my job nor my material possessions define me.. my personality would be the same without either of them.
My job suits my personality but it’s far too dull to talk about..
I’d still be the outgoing, gobby, risk taker without either of them. |

It wouldnt bother me already been there, As ive had to start again twice.
The material things I would build up from other things.
That also includes work tools some items would be built from some bought tools.
No change for me. |

If you strip away my worldly possessions and my job, there's still a fair amount left - I think! I have passion, and ambition for positive change and to make a difference. Boundless enthusiasm and curiousity too, as well as hopefully the odd good anecdote. I still also have my friendships, especially those close to me, as well as my experiences and memories. I'm also richer in time. There's probably a lot more if I pondered it further. |

"I have nothing of value so not much change. Though if someone took my dogs I’d be lost
I would become a raging psychopath if someone took my dogs !
Snap.. they’re my favourite company!! "
Likewise, Gully is family… he might think he’s a cat and chase a squirrel up a tree and get stuck (true story) but he’s my dumb dog |

My job.. eh, just to survive/earn money atm, I wouldn't particularly care.
My possessions? I'd be pretty bored as I'm a crafter, I love making things. I guess I'd hiss at you, run off to the woods and start making a spear with some flint... Goblin life! |

I'd say very interesting.
I'm sure a lot of people would be very interested in the story of the man who had his job and all his possessions stolen from him by a couple of swingers, from a swingers website, as part of some sick Hunger gamesesque quest for entertainment.
A lot of people would be interested. Especially the police! |

My job and possessions in no way define me. What I do outside work defines who I am and how I live my life and treat others. I have very few possessions either. |

I was going to write in my original post "just to be clear my dog is not a possession and anyone who tries to take him will lose body parts" but I thought it was a tad aggressive |

I've lost everything three times and grown to realise possessions, like people, come and go but with the interesting tapestry of life that has been... once started, I don't think anyone would be bored. |

Now an I interesting only one way to find out. |
