Starting over

Everyone loves a fresh start but does the thought of starting again sometimes frustrate or put you off doing it?

For example sex with a new person is exciting but at the same time finding a new person to have sex with is daunting.

Not just sex could be anything starting over a new career/job or moving house

Yes I do get put off by everything that's involved. The idea of selling up and moving to somewhere like Portugal or Spain really appeals to us but the practical reality is daunting

As a single guy of about 10 years, I would love to fall in love again, but I've been set in ma ways for a while now and like ma own space. There have been several ladies who have stopped over at mine off here, for a couple of nights, which is cool, one stayed for 4 nights (I thought she was planning on moving in ) lol

But seriously though, I don't know how to meet women who are single anymore, as I don't think online dating is for me, and ya don't get much chance to chat at Bingo

Bring back discotheques, that's what I say, and let me impress the sexy ladies by throwing some Dad bod shapes

Likewise here, I have been single for 8 and a half years. I had my former FWB who stopped over and I went to his but not a relationship.

How to meet singles is a problem these days, seems it's all online now. ..

surrounded by twinkly lights

After the influx of instant/online gratification over lockdowns, I am a lot more wary and picky about getting to know people, so I am sticking to the fab socials and pulling in real life, it's a lot less hassle than endless messaging that ends up going nowhere

I think starting over is a very daunting thought. But like most things, once you start doing it, it’s not nearly as bad S tou we’re expecting.
