Expecting rude and indiscreet people to change.
The idiotic blurb that is appended to the end of profiles.
Government apologies for injustices that happened years before, whether decades or centuries.
Expecting users, abusers and bullies to change-to become decent and empathic beings.
Apologising for taking too long to cum in a DVP, and missing that window of opportunity for all three parties to cum together.

Expecting the various religious orders within the Catholic Church to pay adequate compensation to the thousands of victims of their abuse, exploitation, cruelty, racism and downright bloody mindedness that occurred within living memory in many countries worldwide.
In Ireland, multiple reports, promises to pay, but years of obfuscation, delay, denial and clever legal manoeuvering to protect their assets and the lady vesyohes of their reputations. pointless. |

"Asking a politician to tell the truth."
It’s not even that that annoys me in all honesty - it’s that they never, ever, answer a direct question with a direct answer when interviewed.
I was watching Andrew Marr yesterday. The only interviewee who actually answered a question was the head of the armed forces - ie not a politician. |
