Yes our friends own a bar over there.
You might struggle to find swingers though. Depending how long you are there, you could take a trip into Benalmidina for the night. There are a couple of clubs and normally a few swingers looking for meets. |

30 years ago. M&S and BHS were very expensive though
Great experience even though I was only there for the day.
Extremely narrow streets with houses on either side showing their battle scars inflicted by the wing mirrors of the tourist minibuses.

Yes loads of times. It maybe a bit gloomy and you run the risk of having to land down the coast if the levanter cloud comes in. You have plenty of time to explore.
I hop of the plane turn left out airport and hurry across the runway before the plane leaves. Then at at Casemates and have a well earned beer before planning what I’m going to do and where to go. It’s a great spot to people watch.
Lots to explore up the rock and make sure you pop into La Linea for some tapas. Don’t be put off by the reputation that town has as if you are not involved you get let alone. |

Ocean Village is where most of the evening crowd go to especially starting from Office finish times. The two Casinos are in that area and worth a visit if the suns out as you can sit up high on the top deck and chill. |

I lived along the coast for a few years and used to know it well. I loved going up The Rock, amazing views and cheeky monkeys. The town is small and not very interesting, imo, you'll soon walk round it. There's boats which take you out to see Dolphins if the weather is good, that's fun.
Otherwise just across the border is La Linea which has decent shops and places to eat and drink, and good beaches. There's a bus station a few minutes walk from the border with regular and cheap buses up and down the coast so explore a little.
Enjoy, Grumpy! |

"If you’re into the Napoleonic Wars great place tons of history. Do the cable car and caves
Caves ?? Oh yes tell me more "
Place has more roads in the rock than outside it.
The Second World War caves are worth a visit as well as the Older ones. |

Also sounds gloomy but the Trafalgar Cemetery is interesting for military history. The famous Battle of Trafalgar was fought quite close by and many of the wounded and dead were brought to Gib afterwards. |
