"I'm not ashamed of my music tastes, past or present. I enjoyed them for a reason. While some music styles from some bands I liked, may sound outdated by today's standards, I'll still play them for nostalgia. For music, it's about feeling happy at the end of day for me, and if 'terrible' music does that, then zero f**KS given " Woo hoo!! Me too!! Now come dance to Timmy Mallet with me

"Sometimes (if not quite a few times) music is connected to memories. So you may have met your partner at a party, club etc.. a certain song comes on and it reminds you of that moment. Or various other scenarios that brings back happy or even sad memories but the music helps remembering that moment with affection. So Cliff Richard, Some People. Spice Girls, Two become one. 5 Star, Rain or Shine. I could probably think of a few more, but these are artists I wouldn’t normally listen to. " That's entirely so. Music can evoke such powerful memories and thoughts after all. Those aren't at all embarrassing. Unless you did the 2 become 1 dance in the mirror until you had it perfect and could rock it on the dance floor. I don't know anyone who did that. Obvs.

Utter pig. " I'm embarrassed by my Take That paraphernalia collection. Mainly because I have no idea what the point was. But Take That ruled! I'm not ashamed of ever liking R.Kelly's music. "The sweet " My grandad was called Poppa Joe - always smile when I hear it played. Me & my friends had our own very dodgy dance to Wig Wam Bam… We always listen to Dolly Parton when going on road trips. And New Kids On The Block were my 1st concert for my 13th birthday…. J x

"Ha-Ha! (Nelson off "The Simpsons" Laugh.) But I can't laugh really cos I've got a Kylie Minogue poster on me wall..... But in all fairness (I'm trying to justify myself here - try not to laugh), she is in stockings & suspenders & bra! It's just that the corny heart at the back is making it a tad cheesy! I'm not selling this am I???? Is it hot in here or is it just me with the embarressment? I also have a couple of Kylie cd's which I like playing from time to time too. There it's out! Kinda my secret guilty pleasure! Well.... that;'s what I'm calling it... You might say what's embarressing about that? Well, here's the rub - I like heavy rock too! My Led Zeps albums; Tesla; Scorpions ("Blackout/Animal Magnatism" my fave albums); Cult; Dread Zeppelin. You get my drift you crazy cats...? " I'm impressed you can be so open about your love for Kylie.... nicely done! We won't tell your rocker mates

"I agree that the artist and the music should be separate. But I can’t imagine anyone driving down the road on a summers day, with their window down blasting out Gary Glitter singing ‘ D'you wanna be in my gang, my gang, my gang, D'you wanna be in my gang, Oh yeah!’ " This is actually a very good point......

"I love a bit of cheesy pop reminiscing. I have Right Said Fred "I'm too sexy" on my running playlist. I think I would run faster if ever anyone heard me listening to it on a run haha The first single I bought was Frankie Goes to Hollywood "Relax". I was 10 years old and too shy to buy it as the cover had this super sexy lady and guy in leather undies, so I asked someone to buy it for me... its such a sweet memory. I enjoyed listening to all pop as I was growing up, NKOTB, Bros, Kylie, Jason Donovan, 5 Star, Janet Jackson...I so wanted to be one of her dancers, Madonna, The Bangles... and so many more. Plus I also listened to Queen, David Bowie, The Eagles, The Supremes, Tina Turner, INXS, The Beach Boys and lots more. I don't regret my musical choices over the years, some give me good memories whilst others are an acknowledgement to a time period within my life whenever I hear them now. NBVN x " Yes! Exactly how I feel!
