On some level I still miss the Wetherspoons Sunday roast. It was cheap and you got a drink with it. It wasn't the best but everywhere near me charges nearly £20 for a slightly posher version.
What everyday things that have vanished would you like to make a come back? |

I miss 'spoons in general. Round of drinks for a tenner? There's a nice one near my house too. Has to be #Neverspoons from now on tho. On general principle. |

If you visit a Wetherspoons these days there is a nice brochure on each table with retractions of staments that the media made regarding Tim Martin.
He's a dick but without the spoons where are all the older gents that drink there going to go. There are no other affordable alternatives in my neighbourhood.
Also there are some beautiful buildings that are spoons. The Crosse keys, the Hamilton Hall and lots of deco cinemas too. |

What about cinema ones or the one in Wilko?
Neither have the selection that Woolworths had. There’s a great little sweet shop in Brighton that’s amazing though."
Woolworths did have the best and cheaper too. I'd always have the white chocolate discs with the sprinkles on and a 7 inch single. |

I don't that often but cooking for one is a bit of a mission. I had some chicken tacos from a tex mex place yesterday and they served it with Batchlors savory rice. Sometimes it's not worth eating out either  |
