Always without fail.

Just like I always use dipped headlights when it's raining or in any situation with reduced visibility.

Yes, whenever there's fog. But only when there's no car behind. They're to make you more visible to approaching cars, if the car is following you it already knows you're there and they're too bright to leave on for cars directly behind.

I’m not sure people understand the difference between a bit of mist, or heavy cloud or fog. The slightest bit of dullness and the fog lights are on

Don't you drive for a living? Aren't all fog lights depicted the same on them

Yes, I use my fog lights when appropriate. I also use my normal lights in light fog/heavy rain etc. The amoutmbr of people who don't is shocking.

You should still be using fog lights, isn't it illegal to drive in done circumstances without them on? Or perhaps just a fair weather driver?!

Plus.... Even if you've never used it before I think I'd expect a professional driver to know what the button for it looks like

Haha, firstly well done for cleaning your car! Mine looks like student digs ! I haven’t used fog lights in a very long time tbh! There’s quite a few drivers out there who would benefit from finding a switch they didn’t know existed, aka the indicator
