Now that's just evil.
I used to be a big Who fan with little interest in The Stones but I've flipped completely in the last few years. So The Rolling Stones and Tumbling Dice. |

With a username like Keef Rocks I’m hardly gonna pick The Who now am I?
Favourite song is a tough one so here are a few:
Let’s Spend The Night Together
Gimme Shelter
Happy
Miss You
Waiting on a Friend |

"The Stones , Sympathy for the devil
Do love a bit of the Who too ... Substitute and Boris the Spider being faves"
Agree nearly 100% with this.
But The Who would have to be Baba 'o Riley or Live reign o'er me |

Close call but the Stones edge it (with Start Me Up), but The Ox was one of the greatest bassists of all time (check out his isolated bass track on YouTube of Won't Get Fooled Again if you need convincing) |

I’ve seen the Stones many times and they’ve been an obsession since I was about 10 years old so I’m very biased.
I’ve seen the Who a few times and nominate 5:15 as my favourite by them. I’d have loved to have seen them with Keith Moon on drums though! |

I'm not a 'fan' of either but both have arguably some of the most epic songs ever. If I had to choose Stones just pip it for me. Fave tracks 'sympathy for the devil' from the Stones, 'Pinball Wizard' from the Who. |

"The Rolling Stones - Gimmie Shelter.
But then again, The Who - Baba O'Riley...
Yep! Cruel question with no right answer ! "
Should be used to that by now.... |

This I really hate . Was fan of The Who in my teens etc. Saw live couple of times. Then loaned a couple of Rolling stones albums . Plus live dvd’s. Now by a very small margin.
The Rolling Stones
Song Brown Sugar |

Definitely The Rolling Stones for me, hard to say which 1 tune is my favorite, but I do love these...
Mothers little helpers
Wild horses
Start me up
Sympathy for the devil
Brown sugar
Satisfaction
Ohh I could go on but it would take up all the space on this thread... |

For me it has to be the Stones by a mile no question about that, however I have most of their albums on Vinyl now and love there early stuff. But I also love their newer stuff! So I am torn between two songs which helped me 'to get back in to' them a good few years ago and they are both from the Voodoo Lounge album. They are Suck on the Jugular and Moon is up both favourites because of Charlie Watts' great drumming on both tracks. |

The Stones would be my favourite if the pair though both have cracking songs
The Stones - Gimme shelter, heart of stone, play with fire and time is on my side
The who - you better you bet and the seeker |

I would have always said the who, I didn't like the stones for years for no reason whatsoever.
But now I like them and I don't understand why I never liked them in the first place...
To date tho, if I went to a Duke box in the pub I'd go for a who song before a stone's song 95 percent of the time..
Fave stones song....miss you
I don't have a fav who song

"Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
Chills every time (but good ones)
I like the Stones version obviously but I prefer the Guns n Roses cover. "
They do good covers Live and let die for one but the original is just special |

I agree the original is special. I'd argue the cover is too, it's the sound of a band breaking up. |

Definitely the Stones, so many great songs to pick but it has to be Sympathy for the devil. I was luck enough to see them live in Paris 7 years ago, we got vip tickets so we were up in the pit only a couple of meters from them. Absolutely amazing live gig. |

Difficult choice as they are two of my favourite bands.. I am going to select the Stones track,
Moonlight mile, a beautiful song about longing..
As for the Who, it has to be, I can see for miles and miles and miles..Keith's drumming is superb |

I don't know if I can pick for the rolling stones as they have too many great hits to even just pick out 1. However I do like under my thumb and Honky Tonk Womam. As for the Who don't really listen to them but I am quite fond of my generation. I'm quite a lot knows that's song. |
