Received a message just then along the lines of ‘meet tonight’. I politely declined as I have other plans and got a reply back patronisingly lecturing me about how I should only be online when I’m up to meet.
Im not the one who messaged and nothing online says I’m meeting tonight plus how else can you check messages if you’re not logged in?

Lots of people on here OP unfortunately who have skewed or unreasonable expectations of the people they message. Just because their fictitious rules seem reasonable in their heads, doesn't make it so. |

It can often take me awhile to answer a message as I’m sometimes just not in the mood to get into long conversations online. I’m very rarely going to meet anyone that day, so may only answer 12-24 hours later or immediately if I’m interested in that person or the message is a turn on.
This often means I get those …’hey have you seen my message?’ normally after an hour or two. I wish the site had a way to hide you being online without having to hide your profile. Just something that say ‘Don’t show being online’ similar to hiding yourself viewing a profile in stealth mode.
It may be a meeting site but I’m not always in a mood to meet anyone or chat and would like to view the forums in stealth but leave open my profile.

He’s now decided to message again and gave another go about me being online but not meeting. Apparently “you wouldn’t stand at a bus stop if you weren’t waiting for a bus”.

I tell them what do you think I just sit at home in my poncho and sombrero waiting for the next FAF message to pop through my inbox, no, ain’t gonna happen buddy etc etc, takes me over 8 minutes to get fresh for the weekend, so I can’t meet at the drop of a hat. |

I've had that a few times , saying are you free now at about 9pm.
I generally need a couple of days notice to get shaved and cleaned up ,may be a haircut.
I get so few offers so when something like that come through it's really frustrating |
