What's your biscuit barrel like?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By *ad Nanna OP   Woman  over a year ago

East London

If you have one that is.

As a child I used to like people's biscuit barrels or tins.

I can't remember us ever having one, but it was probably an old Quality Street tin if we did.

Do you have one now?

Is there anything worse than opening a tin of Quality Street or Roses and there being a sewing kit inside, truly heartbreaking ?!

Empty as I've been away.

It's not been the same since they did away with Choccy Dundees and Sailsbury Biscuits but the new orange Wagon Wheels are quite good and I adore Tunnocks Marsh Mellows!

Nah, much prefer crisps. So I have a big storage box full of them in one of my cupboards.

I can remember my mum's from when I was a kid though. Blue, with a lid that contained rice to keep the biscuits dry (I can hear that rattle now).

I've just started buying them to take my painkillers with in the morning, but they keep going off.

I'm going to buy a biscuit barrel but I want a quirky one.

It's probably the sugar in them.

Fermentable oligo-di and mono saccharides and polyols cause stomach problems

We have a San Francisco tram my dad bought back for us years ago, however there is nothing in there! We rarely have biscuits in.

I have a glass jar with a heart topper on the lid. Currently it has various sweets and biscuits in it.
