When did you try and book it?"
Been trying for a couple of weeks. I had one booked but got let down. I booked the venue in 2019 so I thought I was pretty organised  |

If you've a Costco fairly close they do mahoosive sponge cakes.
Or try local fb sites. Maybe loads of cup cakes arranged on a cake stand or similar?
If all else fails, one of them Asda caterpillar ones should raise a titter |

Friend of ours bought a load of caterpillar cakes, cut the heads of them and placed them together to make a massive caterpillar cake.
Don't know what they did with the heads mind you  |

Pity you are not a bit closer, I have a lady friend who is a confectioner. Having sold her cafe, and catering business in Scunthorpe and relocated to this area. She gives me specialty cheese cakes, and layer cakes regularly, I'm sure that she would have been delighted to turn one out for you. Best of luck. |
