i have tried this for a few days and sorry to say this but FUCK IT...
most of the messages i received and i declined in meeting was abusive or couldn't take "no and rejection as a answer"
some got abusive with whore slag etc etc
and some actually was polite
but sorry im going back to myway

Yep I know what you mean after reading aim the forums all about people saying all that want is a no thanks reply I started replying back to all
But twice yesterday I went from an opening message of oh wow you look amazing to why no as you must be a slut if your here etc
So like you I too am going back to my way |

I have been here on fab a time now .. and only had one nasty mail ... and he lived up the road and could not take me not mailing as so close .lol  Why i have no one on my block list .. as never felt i had to block people . I know its not same for everyone here i would hate it too xx |

There will always be some that can't take rejection and feel the need to be nasty.
Know we don't get the same amount of mails as single women but can honestly say we have only ever had the odd one or two abusive emails. Most of the time if we get a message back, it's just to say thank you for replying and best wishes. (or something along those lines)
Do what works best for you, not what pleases others!  |

When I send polite messages to decline, (which depends on my mood, how much time I have and how many unread messages are in my mailbox), I get a lot of "why not?"s and attempts to change my mind, but few abusive responses.
I do just delete the rude approaches though, always, so maybe that has a bearing on it. |

We never get abusive mails after sending a polite mail back. We have had people ask can we give them feedback of why not and we have told them and still have had no abuse.
Now when people get advise of why they are getting no meets on here they are told to change their tactics/ how they mail....maybe the advice could be the same here |

.. pretty much our experience too. We always reply (unless the initial mail is offensive or crude) and give a polite 'no'. Normally get 'thanks' back and only very occasionally do we get abuse.

Considering I've never been swamped with messages on here I can only imagine it's like my email inbox where I regularly get bombarded with incoming mail. Unless something is really important or catches my eye then I'm not going to bother so i guess I can empathise with you. I never understood the abusing people thing, if we aren't each others cup of tea or someone's not interested in you keep it moving, there are plenty of others who probably will be. |

We do try and politely reply no thanks, but then it often leads to why not, and we do also try to give constructive criticism as to why not.
Not had abusive messages back, more but if I do xyz will you change your mind.
Although a couple of days ago I'd had enough, so was a little more abrupt

I just think its easier to block as I have told a guy that he is too far several times, got a snotty response back the last time but 3 days later he is back again  |

I can understand your frustration, we got fed up with abuse when nicely telling someone no.
Now we always send the same message to anyone that we wouldn't meet for no matter what reason.
