Has anyone else enjoyed watching this series? I don't often like American writing but I thought this got better and better. It's maybe a bit niche but I'd recommend it if you're into satire. |

Omg I just finished it!! Best thing I’ve seen in ages… such a rollercoaster of emotions haha literally was building up for everyone having a melt down 
Frustrated about the ending btw! To say the least x

Who was your fave character? And what about the ones you hated?
I couldn’t stand Shane, what a big ass baby man he was!!
And also I started to dislike Nicole… and Rachel too. I want to like her but I couldn’t cos of her choices. I can understand why she made that decision but I wanted to slap her so bad and to tell her “wake up sweetie!!!l”
Fave were Tanya cos she was crazy and Belinda (felt so sorry for her at the end)

Nine Perfect Strangers is pretty good but only 4 episodes dropped so far with one more each week
New one on Amazon called Solos which has been beaten up a bit by the critics but is really good. |

I haven't quite finished White Lotus yet but five eps in and I don't think I like any of them. I think they are all meant to be unlikeable. The lady that runs the spa seems nice. Maybe Rachel the newlywed?
I don't get the popularity of Jennifer Coolidge in things. Probably controversial but she's just not very funny to me. |

That's the thing; it completely changed with some of them. I don't want to give away spoilers...
Nicole seemed to be the reasonable one but the more we found out, the less I liked her.
Thought the girls were horrible at the start (except great dialogue) but I was really moved by them at the end.
Shane & mother - eugh.
Rachel I thought was ok on her journey of self reflection but she should have stuck to her guns.
Tanya - I saw it coming. She was funny but the end was inevitable.
Armond, the obvious baddie, was definitely Basil Fawlty inspired!
Faves, Belinda; the only really normal person; & Quinn; cheered for him at the end. |

Yes I think it’s meant to have no one single likeable character. They all eventually show how selfish and rotten they all are. (In different ways) But I wonder, obviously that’s very scrutinised but it makes me think if that’s how we all are. I mean we are mostly nice but we all do shitty things here and there that either suit us or suit our loved ones .
I need to watch some YouTube vids about it and see what others say haha
I dislike Rachel, I mean I feel sorry for her situation but she’s not redeemable as her silence makes her weak and a total walk over and someone who accepts the shitty situation no matter what.
Paula and Olivia were a great duo at the beginning but yeah. Lol |

Also yes about Belinda (really felt for her as she was basically an emotional sponge for all these people and eventually she was like… I’m all out)

It seems to be a unflinching look at self absorbtion in its many forms.
Another odd watch is Kevin Can Fuck Himself.
Its on Prime and if you can stomach the first five to ten minutes of it becomes weirdly watchable once you realise what the setup actually is. |
