So I suppose Postman Pat and Bob the Builder will definitely be unacceptable to the snowflake generation as well. |

Oh to be one of the woke, the things I'd miss out in life: just watching a TV program and enjoying it. Not caring about the roles and just being happy to watch.
To be able to listen to a Christmas song and just sing it, a fairytale just for the Bedtime story for my kids. To read a book and be immersed in the story because of the quality of the writing.
To be able to accept that in the past things were different and not demand they he banned for ever more or come with a warning.
To know that not every kid gets a medal on sports day, that it's OK to be different but not expect the word to change just for you.

I don't like the misandric undertone (oh look at stupid Daddy pig Knocking down whole walls trying to hang a picture, while claiming he's an expert) it really is bollox.

Yes! Fenella!
Omg Granpa Flump playing the Flumpet! There was an episode called 'the cloud' where Pootle was grumpy and had a little cloud following her around. Watching it back as an adult being a practitioner in Childcare I thought it explained and explored emotions beautifully for small children

I might watch it back on YT. Meanwhile I’m still trying to get to grips with the idea there was a dragon from Yorkshire that lived with people that had ears for wheels and his mortal enemy was an angry Welsh witch with mushrooms for friends |

I know right, but as a kid you never queried it, just accepted it.
Well tbh I think I have a lot in common with Fenella, I am Welsh, I am a witch and have plants as friends (Arfur and Tim) ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

The Scottish versions of peppa pig & pingu are the best. Now they really will make the snowflakes cringe. Why do we have to change everything to pander to people who have nothing to do but find fault in every aspect of life? |

Every episode of the flumps is on YouTube.
I learnt recently there is actually an instrument called a flumpet. Always made me laugh when Pootle put the balloon in the flumpet
Does anyone still do knees bends? |

"Only reason I object to it is that Peppa pig is an obnoxious little bitch!
"
Hell yes. Little miss know all.
And the dad gets called fat and taken the piss out of all the time.
Mrs Rabbit does all kinds of jobs, flying helicopters, driving taxis, 'man jobs', so not sure I see the traditional roles arguement. |

Try telling that to the late Jim Henson. Actually, I challenge you to tell anything to the late Jim Henson without a medium... |

Why are daddies always silly?
Because they are. Get over it.
Are you silly? No? Then it's just a pig on the TV.
" the point is .. children are taught that daddies are always silly... similarly the dad's in adverts are always inept and figures of fun. .. ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |

Are we talking about bacon sandwiches? I would say no if it's a buffet for muslim, hindu or jewish friends. If it's catholics on a Friday then stick to fish finger butties. For vegetarians get olives, hummous and flatbread. Other than that you're probably okay. |

LOL you all may not like me for this but I'm a yankee. I'm from America.. and I find Peppa pig hilarious. Here's a thing America isn't really too fond on your adult shows but your kids shows are hilarious. That's s*** we can actually sit through if we got to sit through it with a kid. It's that sneaky cheeky comedy.. now is it appropriate. no lol pepper is a b****.. but it's real by damn it.. if you're looking for appropriate try bluey, best of all worlds |

I’ll try and keep this brief with the fear of showing far too much peppa pig knowledge ! But who doesn’t love jumping in muddy puddles? It never bothered me watching it with the kids, quite funny really as far as kids programmes go! Now I’ve got the theme tune stuck in my head, thanks for that haha!
