When I lived at Wittering they filmed a scene from Mission Impossible there. The bit with the A400 aircraft.
Ellie Golding also filmed a music video on the runway there.

Open All Hours and Still Open All Hours.
Come Fly With Me (Matt Lucas and David Walliams) filmed a lot of scenes at the local airport.
Brassed Off (Pete Postlethwaite film) used a lot of local locations.

Bristol |
Back 10 years ago you couldn't turn a corner in Bristol without seeing Casualty being filmed. DR who seems a frequent visitor and Christopher walker is flying in and out of Bristol at the mo filming something. It's like a cider fuelled Hollywood down here!!! |

The film 'Yanks'
East is East was filmed in Openshaw, where I grew up
The cinema they visit in Bradford is actually in Ashton-under-Lyne
Now long since closed as a cinema and replaced by a multiplex on an out of town complex |

Shit loads gets filmed around here.
French lieutenants woman
Ammonite
Tess of the d’urbervilles
Emma
Far from the madding crowd
Rebecca
Rise and fall of regie Perrin had some bits filmed in our village plus the bit that was used in the opening sequence where he runs down the beach stripping off.
A sketch that was in an episode of the Goodies where they were being chased by a giant Dougal ( as in magic roundabout)
Broadchurch was filmed at West Bay
Another series that I can’t remember the name of with Nick Berry as a harbour master.
We are very photogenic down here in Dorset |

There's several things made near me because of Ely Cathedral, the old buildings and the river. Even the auction house for one of the auction programmes once. They've recently been filming for a new film called Harvey Greenfield is Running Late. |

St Albans Registary office near me has the door that was used as the entrance to Slade Prison (Porridge)
Before it was sold & demolished my mum's house where I grew up was used as the children's home in Judge John Deed.
Just got in from Radlett Parties whose venue Littlecroft has featured in Ben Dover movies. |

NW London |
I live in London, so yeah plenty.
Lesser known is that somebody made a film about the Titanic called a Night to Remember (1958) and used Ruislip Lido to stand in for the Atlantic ocean as Pinewood studios didn't have a tank big enough. |
