My new passport...good job BlondeDaz is in charge today as the bloody hideous photo looks more like a man in drag....that's me sorted with my 3rd adult passport, but I'm going to miss my old one with the teethmarks from where I hold it in my mouth while fighting with a suitcase with a mind of it's own, handluggage, handbags and tickets plus all my stamps and visas - is it just me or does anyone else feel shortchanged if their passport doesn't get stamped entering other countries????

I loved it when I went to Jordan from Taba Heights, got stamped going out of Egypt, entering Jordan, leaving Jordan and re-entering Egypt - 4 stamps in one day - I'm easily pleased

I feel shortchanged too. Seems pointless having all of those pages with lots of nothing in them. You'd think they would just give us a little plastic card in this electronic age and we could just go online or to a machine and print out the list of places we have visited. I might get a shock if I try and use my Oyster card and get charged £100s on it.

My first passprt was pre EU so has all stamps in from countries where now they don't even have a border, so that one is very special.

My problem with passports is they need renewing just before the anniversary of my decade. So the next time it needs renewing I'll be........... well we'll forget that.

Butyes I know what you mean about feeling cheated when you don't get a stamp

I liked my old passport as it had my 5 year work visa for the USA in it...
