"Do you not have wifi?"
No but Ilive within 100meters of a mobile mast. I rarely watch t.v so i struggle to justify wifi with myself. £20 all in data txt and calls with 3. think thats reasonable. |

There can dead spots around mast depending on how it’s configured. Have you run a Speedtest?
Run one for your phone and one for your laptop (you don’t need to download anything, just run the test from a browser).
The important thing to note here is the “Ping” rate (the time it takes for your device to communicate with a server).
This will give you the basic information to determine the cause of the problem.
If the ping is low (in ms) on your phone but high on your laptop. Then there is a loss of speed/signal between your phone and laptop. If your ping is high on your phone as well, this will indicate an issue with your proximity to the aerial. |

So you blame the laptop for your penny pinching.
Then blame the phone for the same thing then go out and try a dongle and expect it to perform really well.
a usb dongle can only put out what it can what people forget is you have 2 signals going through it.
Heavy useage networks also have there problems.
Your far better off using a simcard modem. |

"Ditch the s3 and buy a 4g dongal
Done not helped too much"
You will also need a new 4g sim card because the old s3 sim only uses hspa and not 4g,and also give your laptop a good clean out, defragment the hard drive if it needs it |
