If I see them I was always look who has winked. Then depending on who is it either ignore, wink back to see if they start the conversation, or send a message |

Yes, I’ll look and if I think we would possibly meet in the future I would send a message thanking them for the wink.
I have met some people originally from a wink, it’s better than just ‘hi’ or ‘fancy a fuk’ messages I get. |

I tend not to look at mine, although I have been known to send one on the odd occasion.
I do look now n then though and there's been times when a profile I've liked the look of winked me weeks or even months ago so I've just left it coz I've thought they'll have likely moved on by now or think I'm ignorant for not responding sooner |

Occasionally depending on what’s on the profile. If there’s no info on the profile then I ignore it.
My annoyance is when someone wi am so I message them and they ignore or delete it. I mean wtf, all I generally say is hi, like to chat! |

"Some do. I've had some good meets off the back of a cheeky wink, but it's generally someone I've been aware and noticed in the forums first "
As above, they’re a good way of showing interest |

Nothing comes from wink
Nothing comes from a message
One takes 0.5 secs to do
The other takes 5 minutes to type out a well thought message
Tried both...I know what I'd rather persist with and spend my time on other things |

I rarely check my winks, I assume it’s just appreciation for my pics/profile, which is nice! if they wanted to chat/meet then they would send a message. I prefer confident men that aren’t shy to say hi than someone who uses a wink to gain attention |
