So, it's a bank holiday weekend coming up and I've failed to make any plans 
Was thinking of trying a club (will be my first time on my own), but I've not decided where yet.

Hi op!
Well - unless a hottie offers to whisk me off on a date - on Friday I’ll go to either Cupid’s or Club Play - my 2 favourite clubs - on Saturday I’m working at Cupid’s (which is knackering but a lot of fun) - and on Sunday I’m off to see the Dream Boys in Liverpool with a couple of fab fem friends. Lots to look forward to! |

Well - unless a hottie offers to whisk me off on a date - on Friday I’ll go to either Cupid’s or Club Play - my 2 favourite clubs - on Saturday I’m working at Cupid’s (which is knackering but a lot of fun) - and on Sunday I’m off to see the Dream Boys in Liverpool with a couple of fab fem friends. Lots to look forward to! "

It certainly should be, we'll be camping on the "village green" at a farming & Victorian life museum, worth our medieval tents, weapons armour etc. |

Drive dressed up anyway. It's tremendously liberating, being yourself out in the big world. I recommend wearing flat shoes for the driving if you've not had practice driving in heels, then popping your heels on as you get out of the car. If you do get a hotel room, try arriving and checking in en femme (though daytime clothes perhaps, not your club wear ). Before you know it you will be comfortable being Steph out and about anywhere.

We must be! When I first joined the swinging scene and looked at the number of clubs we have here compared to anywhere else I just grinned. I’m bang in the middle of the NW too - a few minutes from the M6. I call it ‘dirty bastard central’! Within a 50 min drive I can get to over a dozen swinging clubs/venues.
Heaven!

Is that the one at Portsmouth… went a few years ago with my ex… it was her birthday and she loves seasick Steve so I managed to get her on stage and he sang her a love song… invited us back stage afterwards fir a drink. He’s the coolest guy I’ve ever met. And genuinely nice. |

They’re all from kiddieminster way and they wanted to do Nottingham. So fir me it’s a normal weekend. But we’re doing paint balling, clay shooting and hooters. So nit to bad |

Me too. Our last one was planned as a messy one, we ended up curled up on the sofa with a takeaway at 9pm  too old for anything too messy nowadays and we talk too much to be stuck in a club |

I’ll probably drive there and back now, it’s a shame as there’s a free bar after paying to get in 
Agree with not driving in heels, so I’ll wear a girly top, jeans and trainers for driving there. Club play has lockers and a changing area so I’ll nip up there to get changed into something a bit more ‘clubby’ .
I’ll probably have a walk up the prom or certainly make the most of my dressing this weekend. |

For north west folks we have two non swinging events;
Tractor Pull at Gt. Eccelston (think drag racing for farmers, very fun)
Jousting at Leeds Armouries. Proper full contact jousting on horse and a great museum to tour. |

I don't know how experienced you are at being out and about as Steph, so it would be silly of me to start writing loads of stuff here that you probably already know full well. Thanks Polly, it’ll be the first time driving but not the first time out and about. Last time I was dressed, walking in the daylight was in London last year on a shopping trip. So I’m really looking forward to going out again, so I’ll make the most of it.
I’m also regular at Sparkle and other events.

I'm being forced into parkrun by my sister in law and my desire to wear a beautiful dress so part of it will be spent being poked and lovingly mocked to move my fat arse by the former.
I'm hoping to go and watch the latest Candyman on Sunday and start embracing witching season, summer is over basically. |
