Piggy backing on the avocado theme. Super markets purposely sell "ready to eat" avocados at 3xs the price knowing full well that they are not "ready to eat" and making me start my day off hating the world. |

Artisan or local shops don't automatically mean they're good. They often are but the condescending stance that the small operator is always far better quality than chain places is just rubbish.
Also, avocados are grand but not much more than that.

It's infuriating to see that separate hot and cold taps still exist. I just want warm water, not have to do a balance act between the burning hot tap and the freezing one!
On that note, shopping centres that only having burning water in their toilets should be burnt down. See how they like it. |

That bloke from the pub, who once played for his local team, should be in charge of whichever club is the biggest. He’d soon sort them out.
I know feck all about football, so insert the team you support into this, and be suitably offended by an unpopular opinion- as I agree with whoever says your team is rubbish.

While I enjoyed the godfather series, I think they’re a bit overrated tbh. Their always made out to be the greatest films ever but I struggled to sit through them. Thought they went on way to long. Great acting in parts though. Sorry everyone, I shall sit in the corner now and think about what I’ve done/ said   |

Ppl that dont put the tv volume number on an even number are freaks.
The hole in the polo mint makes them more expensive and you cant buy any mints similar to polo as they have the copyright on that design for a thousand years.
You can still get Ceefax and teletext on an old TV.
Virgin airlines was a gimick for ppl to join the mile high club. |

Ok , I see how this is a lighthearted, amusing thread which I’ve really enjoyed. Except it’s not because I am very well aware of how insanely irrational of me it is for me to get so upset about this but if the trains are running on time that, apparently, is a “good service” - it’s not, it’s adequate - but every time I put my PIN number into the machine to pay for something it says “PIN OK” when it would simply be impossible to enter the PIN number any better than I just have. That’s not just “OK”, that’s awesome. Rant over. |
