Laughing at work today one of the lady drivers spilt red wine on her carpet one of the blokes said the best way to get rid of it is to pour white wine on it she believed ah well have you any useful rubbish household tips xx

Quickest way to fix red wine stain on the carpet - take a photo of another area of carpet, glue said photo over stain. Job done

Not a rubbish tip but a true one about red wine, if you spill it on wallpaper (yes random I know but it happened lol) then just spray with mould and mildew remover and leave it, there will be no trace of the wine by morning, the wallpaper will be just like it never happened

Instead of boiling water every tea you need a brew, simply make a big pot of tea and then freeze, so when you need a brew break a chunk off and thaw out and reheat, then after 25 minutes or so viola you have a lovely refreshing cup of tea.

It does!"

Nope. It will help a little but the carpet will still need a clean. The red wine is always visible until the clothing or carpet is properly washed/cleaned

I read recently that using water that the tumble dryer has collected is great for cleaning, especially glass.

I thought it was soda water that was good at getting red wine out of carpets.
