I'm a big hippie at heart nature free love and more. That said what happened to the glory days of swinging the search for pleasure and connectivity not to mention decency and respect all of this seems to be gone. it's become almost a talent and beauty contest forgetting the souls that resides within us is more beautiful than anyone |

Can you expand a bit on what you mean by not in the right environment? "
Sure we are basically animals so we need an environment or natural habitat like they do. Although we made buildings and governments and jobs and taxes etc it's not a natural environment for us. The mental stress we are put under isn't natural for us hence depression and anxiety being so high. We spend so much time worrying about our likes on our social posts or pics we don't communicate with others. We live completely unnatural lives |

The whole free love movement realising the exact same thing I said previously and doing something about it. But they also loved each other was close had connections and support something very lacking today |

Sure we are basically animals so we need an environment or natural habitat like they do. Although we made buildings and governments and jobs and taxes etc it's not a natural environment for us. The mental stress we are put under isn't natural for us hence depression and anxiety being so high. Oh ok, I understand.
I can't completely agree. Even at Tudor courts people were living completely unnatural lives with social appearances literally the difference between life and death.
How far back in history would we need to go to live completely natural lives? |

Tbh I wouldn't say go back more change things government and all the other things I mentioned can be good. I'd imagine most would agree that generally every election no matter who gets in nothing really changes on top of that most of what they said they would do they don't. Why don't we make communities that grow food together build together that way the people in that area are looked after not left homeless or worrying about debt. in these communities we wouldn't really need much money wise maybe working one or two days because the essentials in life are there in abundance. Just a change of breaking that tied down feeling makes us happier makes us more open to communication and makes us better people is what I'm simply suggesting not a complete turn back of the clock |

I think free love still exists but within the confines of those hippy communities. It was never a mainstream, across the board movement. You just need to find those kindred spirits. I've met a fair few beautiful souls over the years but they are in the minority. |

The Internet has been around since the early 50s. Prior to the WWW which didn't start until the 90s swingers used .alt news groups. The Web has simply made it accessible for a broader audience most of which don't know or really understand swinging for them these are just another porn/sex site.
Further on from that people saw a way to make easy money and technology made it easier and affordable. Sex sells so what swinging was about has been mostly lost and the ethos or the original concept of swinging changes with each generation that join the scene. Once you'd rarely get 18 - 30year olds on the scene. The old expression "swinging is dominated by couples and ruled by women "
That has longsince been lost although FAB is ruled by women but it is a very different interpretation of ruled these days |
