Does curvy mean fat

"Was wondering if curvy means curvy as in a slim girl with curves or does it just mean a fat (large) girl ?"
As the labels are chosen by those who wear them, it means whatever they think it does.

It means whatever the profilowner thinks it does.
It's all perception, regardless of the option chosen.
Which is why I have photos clearly showing my body type, as well as the more flattering ones. |

A curve is the image of an interval to a topological space by a continuous function.
That's the mathematical definition.
I have topography. I undulate. I am a mountain. Curvy. Also fat (I'm a mountain with lumpy bits, not a sheer drop) |

Curvy to me, means someone that isn't skinny but isn't fat either, I am fat, more than chubby and if anyone ever said I was curvy they clearly don't know the meaning of the word (but then everyone's interpretation is different I guess).

Curvy is a shape....
Fat is a thing that people have.
And a word to describe someone who has a significant amount of it.
That's how I see it.
I'm fat and curvy. |

"It means beautiful. And don't use the word fat it's degrading!! "
I am fat, I am allowed to use it. I wouldn't call someone else fat but that's the way I see myself and that's ok, if someone else was to call me it, that's fine too, just call a spade a spade and all that.

We all have curves or we would be 2D.
Curvy is a dangerous word to use with me as I have body image issues that have caused me to do dangerous things when I was younger. I'm very small chested yet get called curvy a lot so it's obviously a reference to my thunder thighs and huge hips.
Curvy is just a shape, and not a size though. It's my problem if I take the description negatively when it's used to describe me. |

No curvy means a woman’s natural body figure, from her calf’s, thighs, hips, torso waist and shoulders. Not all humans/women are built the same. As there is nothing wrong with a woman being ‘fat’ or ‘chubby’ .. curvy is more to do with shape and posture, some women are naturally built with curves or a curvy figure. 10 years ago the world was obsessed with being thin. ..times have changed and curvy figures on women are the most attractive look there can be in my opinion. |

"You look at a photo, you like it or you don't. What one person calls fat, the next person may think average. If you don't like the photo, don't mail."
Exactly this

Like any of these labels, it’s subjective, one persons curvy is something different to someone else.
Curvy means just that, there are curves, and I’m not sure the size makes a difference. |

It’s what ever you choose to label yourself or others see you as. I personally call myself a funny fucker because I’m comedy gold… clearly those who know say otherwise
I’m spherical if that helps or a fucking unit to those who don’t like my shape lol
In the grand scheme of things if there’s a picture alongside the label make your own mind up if it’s for you without the label |

Classically, for years, slim with small waist and wider hips and bust
On here, it means larger. A very very tiny number of people describe curvy as slim with shape on here. Or in social media. Or on TV anymore. It’s just a nicer word for people to use. It’s all about feelings. |

And you know what? I have more respect for you than others who hide their shape with close up pics of their tits and bits. You show your body type with a 'this is me, take it or leave' attitude, which in itself can be very sexy.

This 100% - I wish I had the balls (proverbial ones) to show the less flattering side. Totally admire her (hysterically funny) profile as well. |
