"I'm an incorrigible hugger so during those dark 'no contact' days I missed hugs more than anything else.
Let's hope we never have to go through times like that again."
I agree, I'm a natural hugger and it's been so hard. But hopefully we're continuing in the right direction |

I've not had a proper hug/cuddle with a man for a very, very long time.
Casual partners aren't the right people to do this with.
I've casually put my arm over one or two of them, after sex now and then. |

Sometimes it’s the small things that count, asking how someone is, a hug, a compliment. They matter more than we realise at times in today’s world where most of our communication is digital |

Shall we not eat because there are starving people in the world either? |

"...let me be the first of the Welsh to step in and say; a hug is good, but what you really, want is a good cwtch!"
Agreed. Everyone can hug but only the Welsh can cwtch |

Have your cwtch's had the Dragon's stamp of approval though? |

"Wow, that’s a really long time. I can understand you missing them.
It is, especially when I think about it. Being single and then Covid just ruined everything hug wise "
It’s so important isn’t it, that close contact.
I need them.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I guess they hug and look for comfort with other people, using human contact as comfort when there is none?!
I’m only guessing of course but connecting with love ones, having that contact when trying to get through the worst and most trying of time does sound akin to the human condition.
Only strange thing for me personally is why people are shammed for it. Like most species it part of our survival regardless of location, nationality, gender, wealth, beliefs, sexual orientation and any other irrelevant factors people try to use to devalue and dismiss other people feelings when they say I need a little love in their life to make it a bit more bearable |

Very much in need of a long cuddle! The kind that puts all your broken bits back together again and then holds them there for a while. It’s been an awfully long time since I had a genuine one of those! |

"My hugs could win awards.
Just saying.
Are they big bear style hugs?
Just imagine my strong arms wrapping around you, bringing you tight into my big comfy chest. "
The thought is crossing my mind |
