“Do a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”
This is so true people. I changed job last year and a pay cut but I’m loads happier. Job contentment/happiness means a far more than the money if you’re lucky enough to be financially well off so to speak. |

I like my job but I've cut down my hours to enable me to enjoy my life whilst I can. Life is short and after recent family illness etc it's helped me realise that I can't wait for retirement. |

I like mine. I applied/interviewed thinking it would be one thing, but it's ended up being a real mix of roles. I'm getting to work on lots of different projects in different departments which keeps every day varied. I also really like the people.
Only thing I don't like is the imposter syndrome |

Love my job. Now.
We took on too much work being self employed. Now I just take on fun stuff I like the look off.
Happiness over money. Took me to long to realise this.
Won't be rich. But I will be rich in other ways. |

Currently a housewife but going back to university next month to study for a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy, 24 years after I graduated with my degree. Terrified but also excited to be doing something for myself again after spending years raising the kids |

Love my job even though it sometimes does my head in. I do wish I was better paid though. I’m good at it & don’t what I would do if I lost it or had to change as been doing it for nearly 22 years.
T is self employed, works long hours & money not great but he’s happy & so knowledgeable.

I am a Deputy Manager in a Day Nursery and it's taken me a while to settle into my new job
Though despite loving the children and supporting parents I am thinking of a new career, I just don't know yet |

"I like the work I do but I detest corporate politics, dresscodes and all that crap."
Used to feel like that - but then realised that i get handsomely to put up with it. So don’t sweat it these days. Work freelance so tend to change clients every 18 months or so - so it is a lot easy to grin a bear it. |

Found a job I enjoyed only for the contract to be ended 6 months early. Took something else offered as at due to the climate of the job market at the time being unemployed wasn’t an option. This contract now finishes at the end of September due to funding cuts.
Blessing in disguise really as I got signed off due to stress from it. Cannot wait to go back into the sector I was originally when I joined in this company back in June 2019 |

I have a couple odd jobs, but my main job, yeah I like it. I don't like that i get too busy sometimes and often do 6 day weeks, and being self employed you always have that background voice saying, it all may go tits up soon, so accept everything! |

My job is brilliant, organisation I work for brilliant, colleague's brilliant.
The usual stresses of running a business, no job is perfect.
I'm not brilliantly paid for the level I'm at, and I've been here 8 years.
I'm looking for a change. |

For the first time in a very long time, yeah - I not only love my job, but the company I work for are awesome and my team give me proud dad vibes on a daily basis
Been a long path with lots of awful jobs to get here mind! Might just see my time out in this one... |

No absolutely not. I go there, do what I'm paid to, and go home and don't think about it until the next time I have to go. Luckily it's only part time as most of my time is spent studying for a Masters. The job is just to keep the household ticking over while I study. |

I really like my work, colleagues and my job which is full of challenges adapting to the ever changing world around us. It does not feel like work sometimes because I love getting my head round new challenges. |

I enjoy my job, it involves lots of driving often 200 miles per day but the actual work I do is interesting & the majority of people I meet are lovely. I miss having work colleague & office banter though. But the flexibility & pay make up for it. |

My current job, I can't stand any longer. Thankfully after 14 years, I'm finally leaving at the end of the month.
Ready to start my teaching career in September, I've had a taste of it this past year through placements and I can not wait! |

Our jobs frequently drive us nuts, but we both like them. We work for the same organisation (international education). It's varied, interesting, frustrating, challenging etc in equal measures and we have lovely, lovely colleagues |

My last job finished last November, since when I've retired.
I loved my job, as a hotel Night Manager but after doing that role for many years, the physical side I don't miss.
However, I do miss the personal interaction with those I met through my work. I'm very much a "people person!" |

Besides the corperate BS and the peer colleague politics, the long hours and unkown health implications of the long term exposure to the raw materials, I love my job... |

I have no problem going to work everyday but it's nowhere near my dream job nor is it what I am really suited to, not challenging me (which I need), don't feel like I'm learning or developing any more. I was smart enough to have done anything I wanted, I'm a definite serious underachiever. Kinda feel I'm stuck, pay is good and unlikely to get as good elsewhere without some drawback and reluctant to take a pay cut.
Fair play to all those who have found the balance. |

At the moment I hate my role - basically I have 2 bosses split over 4 clients - both of my bosses are on holiday and I am moving in to a new team as if first of September and loosing both bosses
So I am trying to keep all my clients happy as bosses are away, trying to sort hand overs for work, 2 of the senior managers are also on holiday
So a little stressed to say the least.
Also with one client - it’s a new client on a new system which I have only had 4 weeks with so can’t do everything I need to do yet.
I will be ok but it’s crazy!!! Also have juniors that are inept

I love mine, and there are only rare moments when I'm less than enthusiastic about it. I'm lucky to work with a lot of very bright and interesting people.
I've always said to my children that I don't care what job they choose, just make sure they enjoy it as they'll have to get up every morning to do it!! |
