I can be rational but I can seem to be unable to follow what I say, like I know it’s wrong I know it’s probably
Gonna Fuck me up, but I do it anyway like a silly girl and yeah. So heart wins over for me… sadly
, sometimes … as I end up being hurt over and over and it’s entirely my fault |

"I try and follow my head...but heart always wins
If your heart always wins, why do you still try making decisions with your head? Genuine (not facetious) question. "
Because my head tells me what is logically right.....but my heart tells me what feels right... |

"Ignore the heart for it’s easily fooled
Where would we be as humans if we did not use the heart at times? "
Probably way better off. Use of pure logic and science would see the end of things like racism, sexism, religious wars, all sorts.
The heart acts on emotion, which isn’t always rooted in the because cause |

Because my head tells me what is logically right.....but my heart tells me what feels right..." And there is a conflict between the two at times, for sure... |

I can see the sense in what you are saying, completely.
And yet, I feel we would miss out on so much beauty, figuratively speaking, so many rewards... if the heart did not play a part? It would be a rather grey world perhaps? |

I don’t know I guess with people I tend to follow what makes me feel good at present even if logically, it might not be the case in the long run… when I should have thought logically and I do , I just decide to ignore.
Having said that , if u remove boys out of the equation, I did amazing things following my heart and passion and switching off my head saying : but its silly don’t do it
Anyway heart wins for me x |

The head is for making decisions
The heart is for loving
Don’t mix the two up |

You touched a nerve there... from many years ago when I was young and very foolish! |

I sometimes wish it were that easy. Do you think, broadly speaking, men are better at compartmentalising than women? |
