I hate how short their lives are.
I had a golden lab. I had him from 8 weeks old until he was 7 and a half years old but we had to rehome him. I made sure he went to an amazing home where they could give him everything we couldn't. I do miss him every day, he was such a silly gentle giant. |

Sadly that's the way if you treat pets as part of your family, which you should.
Just think of all the kittens who'd love a life as happy and loved as your cat?
That's the joy of furry family, if you don't right, all your lives are better for it, even when you lose them. |

Lost my Yorkie aged 12 to various ailments in April. Best friend I ever had and she saved my life when I had a cardiac event walking her by getting help.
Losing her felt like the end of the world.
Seriously thinking about taking in a rescue dog now |

I would happily consider that, as long as it didn't mind the madness of my two boys |

Had to send my 2 cats to live with my son, when I moved last... I managed 2 months without a pet... It was horrible! We now have a mouse called Pablo but he is already an old man... Not looking forward to when that day comes |

I have some tropical fish, they make me feel really calm and good about myself, I think it’s the indoor fins. |

"2 cats, 2 dogs, a hamster, a bearded dragon, 3 horses and 7 chickens! "
We have 2 ginger tom’s a bearded dragon and a bazillion “silent” crickets in the skirtingboards
strange how they’re not silent once they’ve escaped |

I got a cat because I'm so lonely. It took a couple of years of saving up a deposit to buy my own place before I could have her. She's been keeping me sane and I get furry cwtches at bedtime. |

I have a 6 year old pooch (Heinz variety) and he is my shadow. I also have a 4 month old Rottweiler/German Shepherd cross and she’s a super cute, fluffy, hellcat on four paws.
My mum has an ancient cat. |

Got a rescue dog. A literal one; picked the poor bugger up off the side of the road, as good as dead, couldn't leave him there.
Love him to bits, but he's a dick! |

2 Estrela Mountain Dogs and a Rottweiler x Akita.
And around 30 guinea pigs in my resident herd.
I also rescue small pets so often have lots more rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents in.
I work with dogs as well so always got a house full. |
