I know it has been done before but...
Listening to the news (I am limiting my time doing that) about Afghanistan and Haiti in particular, I feel that all of my concerns and any stresses over whatever I might worry about, are paling into an abyss of insignificance.
What are you grateful for on this beautiful August morning?

Well said, OP, we are very blessed in many ways in the UK.
I'm grateful for the return of live music which is a passion of mine - three great gigs already this month. |

Oh, and me - I love love love live music and it was one of the things I missed most.
Already booked a couple of events.
Stopped short at £160 for a Rag n Bone man ticket for June 22 though!
I am also grateful for the mere fact we can almost go about our day to day business without worry, visit elderly relatives and even plan small holidays. It feels like absolute luxury. |

As long as I have a roof over my head, warm bed to sleep in at night and food in the fridge, I'll always be grateful. Some people don't have these simple things, appreciate the little things in life |
