This week as most people are aware the kids go back to school.

So as a single mother I just cant wait.

I have several things i just cant wait to do

a) have day time meets

b) sing really really loudly and out of tune

c) walk around the house naked and do the housework

d) have some adult converstion without my son nagging me

the list is endless lol

What are the things you have missed out on because of the long school holidays.

Have missed out on having to wake up half hour earlier in the week as the commute during the holidays is sadly much easier due to fewer cars on the road

I cried yesterday morning when the kids went back. Not our kids, we don't have any, but the traffic was bloody awful. Can't wait for the next school holidays, so I can get to work without the little buggers getting in the way.

Thank you I think a lot of mothers and fathers have been frustrated over the last 6 weeks

I know what you mean but im not the emotionally type but it was emotionally. My son is going into yr6 tomorrow and im not looking forward to his week away in November then next July when it will be officailly my school life will then end.. Which is gonna be extremely emotionally for us both. I will need to bring the man size tissues with me

ROFL I liked it lol

I have to admit the school next to my sons does my head in. The parents are rude, they park all down the road making it impossible for us to get to our school. Therefore building up the traffic. We then cant see on coming traffic and if we complain to the school we get nahdah zilch.

I will look forward to getting back to more structured slave time with Master.. as its something we do very little of with the kids home..

I met throughout the summer holidays.. I just improvised.. Met at clubs etc..

Something else I will enjoy with kids off is getting my housework done and it staying done for a few hours
