Protests outside of Morrison's highlighting the welfare of the chickens that they sell. An employee speaking out about it too.. why Morrison's? All supermarkets the same surely. Over one billion chickens a year raised for food every year in the UK. That a lot of chicken. Not sure what the collective term is for chickens but that's a bucketful...

La la land

I've just got 4 rescue battery hens and the state of the poor things was horrible. Just for the sake of cheap eggs it's just not right

"Is anybody going to boycott Morrison chickens"

But then all the chickens died for nothing.

Keep up the protests! It looks like all that publicity has left Morrisons overstocked with chickens, and they had to reduce the price for quick sale. I've now got three in the freezer at £1 each and two pack's of breast fillets down from £9.99 to £2.50. I would have had more, but that was as much as I could grab in one hit after the yellow labels got attached, and before everyone else who was on the ball got in on the act. I'll be watching that space tomorrow again though. Keep up the good work protesters. Next week please try having a pop at cattle rearing, and with a bit of luck we might get fillet steak at a knock down price.
