I widen it's scope for a reason soon to be revealed!
If a beautiful member of the opposite sex (somehow the person of your dreams) came abseiling down from your roof at night (dressed all in black) to deliver to you the handheld present of your dreams without you knowing (your asleep) and by gaining entry through an open window leaving it there for you to discover in the morning along with a note (a mysterious one) but with a good clue/pointer as to the identity of that delivery person.
1. Would you be offended by that?
2.Would your response be dependent on 'who' you thought the gift was from?
3.Would you recieve that gift from a 'stranger'?
4.Would the police soon become involved.
5. Would the police (to soon) become involved.
6.If you thought you did or knew the individual involved would you warn them that that is not on!
7. Find yourself accusing the innocent thus gaining a reputation as one who lives in a dreamworld?
8. Buy your silence from the known invader by keeping the gift delivered?
9. Investigate their nocturnal habits if you did know them?
10.Lock and secure ALL windows (and buy a dog) to prevent future recurrence.
11. Lose a lover of you/acquaintance/friend if you discover their identity by cutting off all communication?
12.suggest you join them in any future well-wishing climbing escapades?
13. Take abseiling lessons but forego the night entry stuff?
14. PUT ALL THOUGHTS OF THE MILK TRAY MAN OUT OF YOUR MIND ABOUT THIS!
15. THOSE WERE ONLY CHEAP CHOCOLATES!!

 Possibly, but due to the answers so far it is leading me to think that people in the UK might have a problem with gift wrapped presents? |
