"There’s a typo in the first sentence."

English may not be his first language or he may have dyslexia etc.

Do you know what, it’s not perfect but it reads like it’s natural. Do you read it and think ‘yes that sounds like me?’ If that’s a yes, keep it. This place needs folk who are themselves so just do you

Just my opinion, I know everyone loves to talk about this stuff these days, but there's information about your past that I don't think needs sharing right off the bat.

Nice that you're open and honest and that information may come out while chatting but your profile is your shop window, and some people might see some red flags in there that might trigger their own past experience and then not get to know you based on your past, and I'm sure that doesn't define you.

for me I've wasted enough time on people who didn't care so I'd sooner out the ones that dont. what happens if you get on well they find out I'm an ex alcoholic then time wasted on someone who doesn't meet my connection needs even if you got along well and then lost a friend; and I've also triggered that person anyway hypothetically speaking. I don't let my past define me and it also shouldn't define me to others they didn't know me then they know me now.

Thank you very much for your honesty
