Sometimes. It's good to feel morose sometimes. Makes the happy times seem happier.

whatever you feel.

you can be sure someone out there is a lot worse off than you and really suffering.

when feeling sorry for yourself think of these people and know how lucky you are.

I rarely feel sorry for myself although that doesn't mean I am allays happy with things. I find self pity is an unpleasant trait so choose not to indulge.

I am a positive thinking person so when times are bad i have to work it out in my head .. and deal with it as thoughts can be changed ..or i would drive myself mad .. so i dont feel sorry for myself its rear if i did ever ... I do for some others in the world who live in wars and very little food or ill .. life pass so fast and we have to make the most of it. x

I felt sorry for myself last week after my latest ct scan left me feeling poorly. After a year of being poked and proded and major surgery I had finally started to feel much better to be knocked back by the bloody contrast dye for ct scan.

I'm not one to feel sorry for myself but I'd just had enough so Benz got me My favourite dinner to cheer me up

Theres nothing wrong with feeling sorry for yourself so long as you can pick yourself back up and come back with a vengence or a new insight into what ever the problem was in the 1st place.

Well, since we went to war in Afghanistan if for any reason I start to get down for any reason in my life, I say to myself "I've still got my legs, my arms and hands and I can see" That always puts my mundane problems in to perspective. I then feel better about myself and it also reminds of our brave service men and women who are often forgotten.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

I felt sorry for myself t'other week when I ended up calling the ambulance out and found my spinal arthritis was worse than I thought, but I've got more proactive, insisted on extra referrals, changed my meds around, had some complementary therapy and am getting back to work next week...am taking "mood enhancers" (aka anti-depressants) and have spoken to several people about how down I've been feeling - upshot is I feel better for discussing it, and I keep reminding myself there's many worse off than me (doesn't help when in a real "black dog" mood, but as I'm now on the up, then it does, if that makes any sense)

Oh and I've got the next 3 swinging related weekends coming up, and I've bought a new motor today and I've got an interview for a promotion next week

Good few blessings to be counted really
