One of those marmite words.

What word or phrase really gets on your goat or makes your teeth itch when you hear/read it?

Definitely GOAT

What a stupid thing to say and the only goat I know has got 4 legs

Also when people who don’t know each other refers to as mate… like You can clearly tell they aren’t even friends… and the micro aggression in the intonation of some people when they say it….I always watch ready to grab my popcorns as it could escalate quickly

Ah the mate one. I'm guilty of that at times. In my defence though, I'm rubbish at remembering names!

Fake news. It does my head in and used by people who disagree with anything someone says rather than actually coming up with a debatable answer

Agreed. There are so many terms, phrases and general cockwombleness that tries to dismiss other people's viewpoints (but equally there is fake news about at times!)

West Wales and Cardiff

I have an irrational loathing of the word “meld”.

Yeah, I know, I know….but I genuinely do. I hate hearing it, hate seeing it in writing, hated typing it out.

Please still be my friend

"What word or phrase really gets on your goat or makes your teeth itch when you hear/read it? "

Generally speaking, anything that comes out of management or a politician's mouth e.g. 'going forward', 'working night and day, or currently 'at pace'.

It should only be used when describing Cinderella's carriage when it turned back in to a pumpkin!

*A controversial one*

“Read our/my profile” as a way of fobbing someone off when their profile isn’t very clear or doesn’t say what you actually want to know as opposed to what they think you should know.
