You Found It Where?

So, we sometime put things down and lose them in silly places.

I’ve just filled up my windscreen washer fluid on my car. I drove to McDonald’s for a coffee. A two mile round trip. I could call using my phone on the car Bluetooth but couldn’t find it in the car anywhere.

When I got home. I discovered my phone lodged between pipes and cables deep in my car engine bay!

So what daft places have you found your lost stuff?

I annoy myself when I have a clear out of drawers etc. Move something to a new more tidy place, then can't find it next time I need it

My husband put the shopping away and I found the bottle of floor cleaner in the fridge door.

I was searching for my phone earlier whilst I was on the phone.

Last week I prepared lunch and placed it in the microwave cooker to cook.

I sat down at the dining room table, and looked at the placemat.

It was empty.

I was utterly confused for a moment, wondering where my lunch had gone.

Then the microwave "pinged" and it all came flooding back.

That was certainly a "senior" moment.

I used to leave my phone in stupid places around work. Used to spend 10-15 mins a few times a week looking for it. On top of lockers, on a random shelf ect. I always keep my phone on silent aswell do it's not like I can just ring it.

Worst bit about it is I used to put in the most random places because i thought that might be memorable lol x

This and on top of my head. I've even lifted my glasses up to focus better close up while looking for them.

My keys made their way through a hole and into the lining of my handbag. It was months before I found them.

Lost my glasses.

As I walked out of a shop I reached up to put my sun glasses back down to realise my reading glasses were up there too….

Actually, it was two pairs of reading glasses!

Yes I’d walked around with two pairs and a pair of shades on my head

Love it, I had a much needed giggle after this. Thank you.

I lost a diamind ring for a few years... Getting ready to give a denim jacket to tbe charity shop , checked all the pockets .. Find ring

Another tine after a d*unken night out placed my gold +amber bracelet on top of the bathroom cabinet so it wouldn't get damaged in the shower.. Went to sleep... Couldn't find bracelet, decided I'd lost it in the taxi, got a crime ref, raised insurance quote , got a new one hand made.. 5 years later painted bathroom... Guess what I found on top of the cabinet

In one of my old jobs I used to have to stocktake the kitchen. Many times I had lost the calculator that I was using at the time and used to find it later in the one of the many fridges or freezers.
