During a recent appraisal of all the possesions we have within our four walls i happened upon that section entitled 'wifes belongings', and specifically the footwear department
I myself have four pair of footwear which enable me to accomplish all manner of things such as climbing ladders, gardening, walking, dancing etc etc.
My lady however has fifty pairs, which like software on a laptop needs constantly updating, as she would have it.
So to anyone and specifically the ladies can you help enlighten this feeble man as to why anyone would need that amount of shoes.
And when inviting comments from the ladies i do realise its a bit like having a row with your Mrs and asking your mother-in-law to referee(oops).Im not gonna come out of this smelling of roses am I ? |

Fifty pairs of shoes required 300 days shopping to amass them. That's 300 days you don't have to go shopping with her. I'd encourage her to buy as many shoes as she wants.  |

My shoe collection:
2 pairs of sandals (May - October)
1 pair of trainers (worn three times)
1 pair of dress shoes (for hatches, matches & despatches)
1 pair of Timberlands (touch 'em, ya dead!)
2 pairs of casual shoes for work
1 pair of steel-toe boots (for work too)
A pair of wellies.
Can't think of another reason why I'd need more than that.

Because unlike boys shoes, they chip, rip, tear and loose shiney newness faster than any other item of clothing (yes even a £200 pair)
They're worth their weight in gold for a whole two months and then they are relegated to 'the pile' or for 'that outfit'..
Just keep the girl happy,, buy the fucking shoes  |

i counted 79 pairs and decided they had to go
i made a killing at the car boot sale
then experienced the grieving period --- what had i done ???
lots of lovely shopping and now have 40 pairs and i love and need every one
