She's gone back to work today after 9 months maternity leave and no less than 45 minutes after she left for work our little lass decides to crawl for the first time!
Siren expressed her concern only yesterday that she'll miss her first words, steps etc and I tried to reassure her that she wouldn't.
OOPS! |

"I opened this expecting that you'd be in the doghouse wishy! Oops.
Congrats on the crawling, poor Siren."
Oh I'm sure it'll be my fault littleun crawled without Siren being here. Everything's my fault eventually. |

"I think Wishy said once that only he uses the forums, so we could be safe "
Siren doesn't come on fabs at all, she posts on her baby birth club forums. I looked at it once - never again - it was like I was viewing some secret ritual that I wasn't supposed to see and then they all look up and spot me and it goes quiet, their eyes narrowed and I could hear the knives being sharpened. I beat the hell outta there double fast! |

oooops.. that was my fear. Missing all of squidge's firsts.
Luckily i was messing around with the record feature of my new digital camera the moment she decided to crawl. She went from crawling to standing/walking within the space of 2 weeks.. was pretty crazy |

I'm HouseDad Mondays & Fridays now and work the other three days of the week (Sat & Sun too if someone needs electrics doing at the weekend), so I'm hoping I won't miss her walking etc.. seems silly though cos we spend the first year of their lives teaching them to walk & talk and the next 15 years telling them to shut up and sit down! |
