Based on a number of threads and conversations. Ummed and Arrrred about posting so here goes.
Not sure if this thread will go anywhere. But most importantly the idea of the thread is to be hopefully informative.  Tall ask I know

But a semi-serious answer to the OP.
Possibly because the male gaze in art has made this a favourite go-to for artists through the ages?
Or was the attraction to this already strong, and the art followed?

Many of us will like chocolate cake.
