Only last month it was nudging thirty eight degrees, sat out in the garden all the time and too hot to ride my motorbikes.
We need the rain, the sun is on it's way back... |

"I heard we are getting another heatwave up here soon."
The papers yesterday were saying that this may not happen at all this month
Been a crap summer weather wise, can only hope we get a nice September. |

Having lived 50+ years nothing seems to change here. Sometimes it's hot sometimes it's cold, then dry but mainly wet. It's called the British weather, I can't quite see where this global warming has changed things. If you were around in the summer of 76 then nothing since has come close. Where's all the dry reservoirs and rivers. Now that was a summer. I think this planet heat up and cools down when it fancies it, I agree with saving resorses but to think we have the power to control the weather is a bit ott, that's the sun's job and it hasn't got a switch last time I looked. Just my thoughts I'm sure alot on here will say I'm wrong. |

I can’t stand the sun so I’m enjoying the current non summer weather haha! Maybe it was because I was born just before the summer of ‘76 and it put me off for life? I hear it was a scorcher! Miss PC |
