Double Standards Or Just Hypocrisy?

Which do you think Fabsters?

1) A thread poster said avatar pictures should be compulsory but theirs had their faces covered with filter masks

2) A women thread poster complained and said she'd block men with cock pics yet had numerous boob and pussy pics

3) A women's profile states that she'd automatically delete messages from men with silhouette avatars and block them yet hers just shows her boobs

Have you come across this sort of thing?

This all comes down to numbers. Woman don’t go around thinking they could bed every man with a simple boob pic in a blunt message. (Probably could)

The number of men that think that, and so implement that theory causes woman to get their backs up, as such.

It’s not a question of having a spine, its about having respect for yourself, I wouldn’t entertain those type of profiles he’s talking about, but I know the vast majority of men will jump through hoops, that’s why women can do what they like, I mean you can either moan about it, or move on.

See, there are three kinds of people: dicks, pussies and assholes. Pussies think everyone can get along and dicks just want to fuck all the time without thinking it through. But then you got your assholes. And all the assholes want is to shit all over everything. So pussies may get mad at dicks once in a while because, pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes! And if they didn't fuck the assholes, you know what you'd get? You'd get your dick and your pussy all covered in sh&@!"

"I think people should probably be able to run their profile as they wish, without being criticised for it.

Okay, I respect your fine point, but don't you think it's a bit of "do as I say but not as I do" and that's my point if this thread really

And that’s their prerogative. They can set their preferences, and still put pics or desires up that are different.

Okay, and I don't want to be confrontational with you, but really! that's really is the height of hypocrisy!

How I prefer men that are athletic and I'm clearly not, it doesn't make me a hypocrite because I don't go to gym.

the way fab works though if a not athletic man prefers a athletic woman he will get mocked or accused of fat shaming or whatever its just how social media works these days haha men are the evil ones

Nobody can be accused of fat shaming unless they say something derogatory against fat people.

some people put 2 and 2 together and make 5 trust me these days social media is a middle aged straight white guy witch hunt haha not be flippant just the way it is these days haha"

I whole heartedly agree with people putting 2 and 2 together to make 5

Of course not, but with all due respect you're being obtuse."

I don't think I am. I used an example that would be obvious to my point. Your preferences doesn't automatically reflect on yourself and how you should look/behave/prefer.

It is true, the only person I have to answer to is myself. I said earlier I make rules on here but I also break my own rules. If you think what someone says they want is contradictory to what you think they show then I would just say you aren’t matched and move on. Simple. Why antagonise yourself over these questions when you could just enjoy life somewhere else instead?

There are many accusations that are based on hearsay rather than actual facts I would agree. I meant accused as that is what was being discussed by the previous poster.

Why do some people feel the need to launch into attack mode when posting? I’m a Forum lurker and I’ve noticed some regular posters who do this throughout many threads. This is a prime example here.

The OP asked for opinions and gave his and what he got from some regular posters is attack for his opinion and accusations about how people aren’t answerable to him for posting the profile they choose to.

Was that even relevant to his question? He made no mention at all about people needing to post a profile according to his preference. He merely asked for opinions about hypocrisy and double standards.

There is a difference between stating your opinion that is relevant to the thread and attacking someone for theirs by simply asking a question.

Being a regular poster here does not make anyone’s opinion more valid or give them the right to pass judgement through attack.

Quick answer: each to their own.

Longer answer: I'm not even sure if any of these are that hypocritical. There's a difference between shadow head and any other pic. At least a pic shows you've down something. Uo to individuals what they show, but no pic does feel creepy.

(Fab upgrade: hide profiles from anyone without pics)

Middle one is osest (did it say any cock pics or just coxk pics). But still, is a person's choice. Maybe they like the excitement of finding out what a cock looks like irl? The penis length lottery ...

Thank you, Lib. I'd agree it's not a battle of the sexes but certainly I would describe it as a battle of perspectives. Men may see the requests women put in their profiles/statuses as ridiculous demands (hypocritical even from this OP). Women may see that they have no choice to add requests or state what they will block/delete. Because they're responding to the number of messages they get from men. Which are at times rude, entitled or abusive. Or just plain monotonous or lazy. Eg "How's you" x35.

It's tricky.

And that's great for them. I'm not complaining. I just wouldn't participate personally."

Of course. Although I do find the topic of requests to "messagers" quite an interesting one. I can't say I enjoy constantly rewriting my profile to head off more messages or being quite so negative. And where would you draw the line? Is being asked to "be polite" off-putting if you consider yourself a polite man? It's like being punished for others' bad behaviour.

"This is great, I’ve never been the subject of a thread before, especially as I only use this for the forums and I’ve never received messages from the OP but I must say, I’m very flattered m

FYI, I can run my profile exactly as I please, but thanks for the thread.

Can i get your autograph?

Of course honey "

I'm screen shotting this for proof

Was I? I didn’t notice at all. We’ve had no interaction do I have no idea.

Wow. I’m honoured

So it was "don't send me dick pics" rather than "no dick pics at all". That feels okay to me.

Bigger things to worry about.

Like if buzz light-year doesn't know he's a toy, why does he stop moving when people are about. "

Yeah, I just don’t want dick pics flooding my inbox (I still get them). OP is obviously just a bitter bully, no idea why, we’ve never even spoken!

Actually, having thought about it for a few seconds. How fucking dare you. We have never even spoken and what I choose to write on my profile is absolutely none of your business. Now you’ve pointed out to the whole forum that this is partly about me? You’re out of order."

He certainly is!

Did you mean accused or guilty? They're very different things and folk accuse others without any base, understanding or truth frequently

There are many accusations that are based on hearsay rather than actual facts I would agree. I meant accused as that is what was being discussed by the previous poster. "

But anyone can accuse anyone of anything. Whether it's true or not is another matter, innit x

"The thing is OP, women can do whatever the fuck they like, they don’t need to answer to you or any man on here, they’re in the box seats, suck it up and move on.

I don't accept that - If more men had spines this would be less of an issue.

What does this mean?

Simply speaking I think it means that if men ignored the ratio and actually posted their true feelings rather than their "I hope this gets me Forum credits with any women or possibly even a shag feelings" then women would realise men won't shag anything going, but I might be wrong!

I would like to understand as the dynamics on this site are a little..opaque tbh. Perhaps I haven't been here long enough. Could Lib explain as he said it?

Simply that if more men had a bit more self respect and didn't attempt to jump through the more ridiculous (hypocritical) demands on some profiles in a vain attempt to get laid, the more power they would have themselves.

I'm not saying it's a battle of the sexes, or preferences, it just seems absurd to me that people would attempt to do so in order to try and get some attention.

I don't know the answers to you questions I'm afraid and I think it's veering off from the original point such as a woman with no avatar complaining about men with no avatar - which is the kind of thing I was referring too.

Like my original statement- I honestly couldn't care less what people do with their profiles.

Not cool, OP. Not cool at all. What were you expecting to happen by pointing the finger at someone in the thread? Were you expecting her to apologise publicly for daring to set her own profile up in a way you don’t like and throw herself upon the mercy of the forum? Were you expecting the rest of us to pile on? As the plot thickens do we DARE imagine what the other part of the reasoning behind the thread was? A stubbed toe or a bad dose of the shits maybe?

Of all the profiles that could have actually pissed on the OPs chips for false advertising I have no idea why he’s singled out yours… the only thing that springs to mind is unattainable. Great profile.

"Which do you think Fabsters?

1) A thread poster said avatar pictures should be compulsory but theirs had their faces covered with filter masks

2) A women thread poster complained and said she'd block men with cock pics yet had numerous boob and pussy pics

3) A women's profile states that she'd automatically delete messages from men with silhouette avatars and block them yet hers just shows her boobs

Have you come across this sort of thing?"

Everyone is absolutely definitely free to do what they want, providing I agree.

"Why do some people feel the need to launch into attack mode when posting? I’m a Forum lurker and I’ve noticed some regular posters who do this throughout many threads. This is a prime example here.

The OP asked for opinions and gave his and what he got from some regular posters is attack for his opinion and accusations about how people aren’t answerable to him for posting the profile they choose to.

Was that even relevant to his question? He made no mention at all about people needing to post a profile according to his preference. He merely asked for opinions about hypocrisy and double standards.

There is a difference between stating your opinion that is relevant to the thread and attacking someone for theirs by simply asking a question.

Being a regular poster here does not make anyone’s opinion more valid or give them the right to pass judgement through attack."

Welcome to the forums.

You make a valid point.

FYI, I can run my profile exactly as I please, but thanks for the thread.

But obviously you block! "

And? So do lots of people so not sure why you’ve singled me out but I think it’s a really shitty move.

I must certainly don't use the forum to get round anything, if you don't mind saying, a typical female response!

OP, it's against Forum rules to make personal attacks and to get round blocks in threads. You'd do yourself a favour by asking Admin to delete this thread.

OP, shame on you for disguising a personal attack under the guise of asking for opinions on a perfectly valid point.

That’ll teach me for coming out of lurking.
