I'm probably barred from bungee jumping now for scaring the shit out of the organisers. My last one (160ft) went pear-shaped because it was past the dew point, the platform was slippery and I slipped off, feet first, scraping my back on the platform as I fell, before I had a chance to jump!
It terrified the staff and everyone was convinced during my fall that I'd lost consciousness (I hadn't). The friend that came with me even stopped taking photos because he thought I'd blacked out. You've never seen the cage come back down so quickly after a jump as it did then.
Even though it went wrong, I was fine, so there's no really anything to worry about.
Just one thing... if you're the sort to automatically do what you're told not to, ask the jumpmaster not to tell you not to look down |

"o my word 4 days to go! im even dreaming about it now lol" Go for it!! The build up to it will always be more scary than the actual jump. Am slightly envious as have done a parachute jump but not a bungee. |
